An open-air spectacle with music for brass and wind instruments.
A task force goes around to schoolyards, parks and other public places to keep order. Rubbish has to be disposed of, parks maintained, playground equipment serviced and safety hazards eliminated. The squad members do their work diligently and with dedication, sometimes even playing brass-band music or warbling a song when the job is done. But this time everything is different. Suddenly, a mysterious object appears that doesn’t seem to belong to anyone. How did it get there? Who put it there? And what’s in it?
The task force pulls out all the stops to avert an impending catastrophe.
“Theater Marabu has succeeded in creating a play that is as exciting as it is conciliatory (…). ‘Master of Desaster’ points far beyond current worries and problems and simply confronts the crisis with powerful comedy without downplaying the seriousness or horror of the situation. That is immensely comforting.” Schnüss, das Bonner Stadtmagazin 07/2021
This play can be either performed in schoolyards or public spaces as an open-air production or indoors in sufficiently large halls. Please send requests to mail@theater-marabu.de
